Historical and Cultural Museum complex “Aigul Too” at the Bat SU

The historical and cultural museum complex “Aigul Too” of the Batken State University was founded by order of the rector of the Batken State University on June 28, 2018. The “Aigul Too” Historical and Cultural Museum of the Batken State University was established to reconstruct the material and ideological values ​​of the region and their study, cultural, educational, and sightseeing and tourist purposes.

The structure of the ICMC “Aigul Too” includes a natural cultural reserve mountain “Aigul Too”, Manas Complex and Kirk Choro, the sculpture complex of the city of Batken, Petroglyphs on Kara-Egiz mountain and the cultural-historical museum.
The museum has a part of dedicated statehood, a section of archeology and a section devoted to petroglyphs, ethnography and the Soviet period, a section about historical personalities and a part dedicated to cities and districts of the region.

In the museum, visitors are presented with archaeological finds from the I-II centuries of our era and historical, ethnographic artifacts to this day. According to the museum expositions, guests and tourists will be informed about the history and culture of the Batken region.
In the opening ceremony of the museum there is a great merit of the rector and the entire team of BatSU. The idea of ​​creating a museum at the BatSU belongs to Ph.D., associate professor of the BatSU A.A. Kadyrov.
