The activity of the faculty of pedagogy and economics of the Sulukta humanitarian and economic institute of Batken State University provides for the training of specialists with higher professional education in accordance with the Institute’s charter. The main goal of the faculty is to train modern specialists with a high level of education, which is in demand by society today. The dean’s office of the faculty mainly employs 3 employees: the dean of the faculty, the deputy dean and the methodologist. There are two departments in the structure of the faculty: “Philological and pedagogical education“, “Natural Sciences and Information Technologies”, where qualified specialists are trained full-time in 8 profiles in 11 directions. In the education of students, 3 professors, 4 candidates of sciences, 7 senior teachers and 20 teachers work as part of the teaching staff. Carries out its activities in the training of specialists in philological education, pedagogical and economic orientation on the basis of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on education and the regulations on the faculties of higher educational institutions, the charter of the Institute. The faculty has created favorable conditions for students to receive a decent education. There is a stadium and a gym in the academic building. Here our students have the opportunity to strengthen their bodies and engage in one or another sport.

The faculty trains specialists in the following areas:

The faculty actively conducts research work of the teaching staff. They publish teaching aids, monographs and scientific articles. The faculty has favorable conditions for the independent development of students, deepening their knowledge, obtaining various information in their favorite areas. Thus, the library of the faculty has educational, methodological, artistic, philosophical, pedagogical, psychological and legal literature. Language learning and computer rooms connected to the Internet adapt students to in-depth learning. Students also have access to city libraries in the main academic building. In addition, the Center for new information technologies works with the Internet, computer services, necessary technical means (audio-video, projectors, computers, and so on.)

The specialties of the faculty are licensed and accredited by the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science. Students are taught in three languages: state, official and English. In any form of education, special attention is paid to quality indicators.

The forms of organization of lectures, practical and seminars have adapted to modern requirements, along with new methods: lecture-discussion, round table, press conference, debates, debates, presentations. Lectures were held in special lecture halls equipped with technical facilities, interactive whiteboards, which allowed students to visually show the main problem areas of the topics studied. Short slides, express surveys used by experienced lecturers at the beginning of lectures on the topic, increase the ability of students to perceive new material.

The cultural and educational work of the faculty is carried out on the basis of the approved action plan. A cultural and aesthetic center has been created that unites students to conduct educational work, provided with national musical instruments, the Student Elite Club and various literary circles. Students, acquiring deep knowledge, take part in regional and regional Olympiads among universities.

Every year, students from the pedagogical and economic faculties, in particular, take part in the Olympiad among students of universities in the Southern region, which provide the following prizes.
