1. Preparation of bachelors of the profile 532000 directions “Physical training” is approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 The profile of physical training is being prepared for pedagogical and organizational, managerial activities in the field of physical training and sports.

 The first stages of the formation of the department date back to 1999

From 1999 to the present, the department of “theory and methodology of physical training, sports” is headed by well-known teachers acting as associate professor in the position of head. It is presented in the following table.

Since 2012-2013 academic year, students in the profile of the pedagogical direction of physical training education have been accepted under the bachelor’s program and the process of teaching this profile has been coordinated by the Department of Pedagogy and Physical Training. From 2015-2016 October 1 of the academic year, due to the increase in the academic load of the department, by order of the director 8/1 01.10.15, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports was re-formed as part of the pedagogical faculty. It was headed by senior lecturer Baizhigitov B. and then from September 2021, the 15th academic year Galatov leads .

Working curricula for the full-time study department are fully included in the hourly workload of the department at AVN (AVN11, AVN6) The teaching staff hosts electronic educational and methodological complexes of AVN , but, unfortunately, the number of teachers who have fully mastered it is only 80%. 

To date, the department serves 532,000 subjects of the block of general education disciplines (the subject of physical education) and general, professional, special disciplines for the profile in the curricula related to the profile of physical education.

 Providing a graduate with a highly professional specialized education that allows him to acquire universal and professional competencies that contribute to his success in the field of physical training and sports, his social mobility and stability in the labor market;

* readiness for life and assistance in acquiring an active civic position;

* education of purposefulness, organization, diligence, responsibility, citizenship, communication, tolerance, ethics training and ensuring personal development.

* Academic staff

• To date, 8 teachers work at the department. Of these, 1 candidate of pedagogical Sciences, associate professor, 2 senior teachers, 4 teachers and 1 methodologist

* Material and technical base

Modern sports complexes of the university, methodical 225, 102 classrooms of the main academic building are used to train a specialist in physical culture, – a sports and games hall, a gym, a gym, a gym, a weightlifting hall, as well as playgrounds for football, basketball, volleyball. In addition, the modernization of sports equipment and equipment is carried out annually. There are enough textbooks on academic disciplines of the specialty in the scientific library of the university.

Educational and methodical work

The effective use of the teaching staff of the department is carried out in the process of teaching research work. The research work of Baizhigitov on the topic “Fundamentals of the effective use of musical accompaniment in the training of athletes” is used by the KHPI sports team in training, in circles, in practical classes. Scientific works of associate professor Borkoshev “Features of physical education of preschool education of the South of the Kyrgyz Republic” and Miyazamov “Features of physical education of girls of the Kyrgyz Republic” are used in teaching methods physical culture and learning outdoor games of preschool educational profile of pedagogical educational direction. In addition, the following teaching aids have been published, which are used as the main literature in teaching the profile of physical culture:

• Every academic year, all teachers of the department conduct open classes and methodological seminars. Before the deadline, a resolution is drawn up at the department and a review is written with a presentation for discussion of the synopsis of the lesson plan.

* The curriculum provides for the performance of coursework in the specialty in the following disciplines: “theory and methodology of the chosen sport”; “theory and methodology of physical education and theory of sports” and “pedagogy / psychology of physical education”. The subject of term papers is discussed and approved at the department at the beginning of the academic year on the recommendation of the head. The course work is checked and evaluated by the supervisor and stored at the department.

* In the specialty of Physical Culture, it is planned to perform final qualifying works every academic year. The topics of the final qualifying work were proposed by the supervisors and distributed in accordance with the academic load. Students’ applications for the completion of final qualifying works are planned to be stored in the appropriate folder and work together with the supervisor during the academic year.

* Bachelor’s degree in the direction 532000 “Physical culture”: – teacher in educational institutions of all types, sports organizations and private organizations; – coach in sports schools, clubs and other organizations of various forms of ownership; – organizational and managerial activities in private organizations in the field of physical culture and sports, private business;-to carry out scientific research in the field of physical culture and sports; –to implement tasks through means of physical culture in institutions of physical culture, sports, sports and entertainment, tourist, medical, rehabilitation and preventive institutions of any form of ownership. -has the opportunity to work in cultural and educational activities in the field of physical culture and sports.

* Student life

* In addition to training, the department organized training sessions in sports: football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, chess, toguz korgool, athletics, boxing, ordo, judo, wrestling. Students of these training groups prepare university teams, participate in the Spartakiad, Universiade and sports competitions, providing leading and prize-winning places.

• To pass the types of practices provided by the educational program, the curriculum divided the school practice of the 6th semester with a 4-week period for 5 credits separately, the professional profile practice of the 8th semester with a 4-week period for 8 credits.  To complete the internship specified in the curriculum, the teachers of the Department of Physical Training  hold meetings with the heads of practices, representatives of stakeholders. Contracts are concluded for students to conduct their qualification practice, employment opportunities and training of qualified specialists, when necessary. In accordance with the concluded contracts, students are assigned to internships, undergo internships in accordance with the order on the distribution of internships during the specified period of time and to the school specified in the order, and jobs are considered, placed and held according to the program. In order to form the competencies of students of the Main Program, a plan is drawn up, special tasks are given, final and corresponding final conferences are held, accounting documents are selected.

Graduates are awarded state-issued diplomas with the qualification “bachelor”, confirming the receipt of higher professional education. Since 2016, more than 300 graduates have successfully completed training in this profile.

On the basis of establishing cooperation with other educational institutions, undergraduate students can continue their studies to obtain a master’s degree at OSH State University and other educational institutions.

These graduates serve in different parts of the republic, one is a teacher-coach, one is in the Kyrgyz army, the other is in the internal affairs department, in the national security agencies.
