“The opportunity to continue the scientific activities of graduates in Kyrgyzstan and abroad (master’s, doctoral)”
On October 12, 2023, a seminar was held at the main institution of BatSU on the topic “The opportunity to continue the scientific activities of graduates in Kyrgyzstan and abroad (master’s, doctoral)” It was conducted by a teacher of the Department of Social Economics and Law, PhD Shabieva Nurzhan.
At the seminar, detailed information was presented about scientific steps after “bachelor’s”, the advantages of master’s degrees, master’s degree grant programs in Kyrgyzstan and abroad, and free training opportunities. At the end of the training, graduates received answers to their questions.
Open access to scientific knowledge (open access)
On October 27, 2023, the “Quality and Career” department and the centralized library held a seminar on the topic “Open access to scientific knowledge” at the head institution of BatSU. Detailed information is provided about the emergence of the open access movement, its current state, advantages, the DOAJ directory of open access journals, and the ROARMAP platform.
Afterwards, Creative Commons open licenses were explained and online exercises were conducted in the DOAJ e-catalog on its main elements.
The seminar concluded with a discussion on issues of open access, copyright and intellectual property rights in the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is worth noting that it was organized as part of the Open Access week initiated by the Scientific Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC).
Job Fair Abroad
On December 4, 2023, the fair “Vacancies abroad” was held in BatSU. The fair is organized on the basis of BatSU together with the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Department of Quality and Career of BatSU, Batken Interdistrict Department of Labor, Social Protection and Migration. There was detailed information about the site www.migrant.kg , safe migration and registration at job fairs abroad, checking for temporary restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation (blacklist), preparation before leaving abroad, etc. The mobile app www.migrant.kg will be available in the coming days. It can be downloaded from the play store. It simplifies the integration process in a new country and provides convenient access to information about rights, language resources and socio-cultural adaptation. A number of private agencies providing employment for citizens abroad took part in the fair.
On September 26, 2023, a meeting was held with graduates of the BatSU 2023-2024 academic year. The meeting provided information about the career center and resources for graduates. After that, a survey was conducted in order to clarify the problems that arise during the employment of graduates.

Today, December 21, at the Batken Youth Hub, Dastan Gainaev conducted a master class for graduates of Batken State University on the topic “Modern professions. Jobs currently in demand. Distance learning and work.” At the master class, information about the first steps when applying for a job was discussed in detail: correctly filling out a resume, practice, passing a test, volunteering. He also identified eight professions that will be relevant for research until 2030: SMM, Graphic Design, Motion Design, Mobilographer, Digital Security Specialists, Farmer, Agronomist, Veterinarian, Game Designers, Bioengineers. Students were also provided with detailed information about endangered professions. He explained in more detail information about what professions young people can work remotely, what professions are in great demand and what skills a specialist should have in accordance with the requirements of the time. The master class was accompanied by live questions and answers. Students actively participated and received answers to their questions about the activities of the Youth Hub on today’s topic. In conclusion, he emphasized that students can participate in various events and trainings organized by the Youth Hub.
Mirlan Davlyaev, lawyer-consultant of the Center for Entrepreneurship Support for Graduates of Batken State University, held a seminar on the topic “Labor Code. Legal nuances in employment. At the seminar, students received detailed information about the rights and obligations of young professionals in employment and work.
The Quality and Career Department of BatSU organized the blog “Our graduates are our pride” in order to familiarize BatSU graduates with the public, collect detailed information about them, strengthen ties between graduates and the University. Graduates who graduated from BatSU found their profession and place in life. Information about graduates is published on the BatSU website and social page on Facebook.
On February 9, at the head office of Batken State University, on February 9, a seminar was held on the topic “Writing a motivation letter for admission to study.” By learning how to write a motivation letter, they have a chance to win a scholarship.

On December 26, 2022, a seminar “Nearpod – an online platform for presentation and interaction” was held for graduates studying at the full-time and part-time departments of BatMU. It was held by Ergeshali kyzy Aichurek, head of the Department of Education and Science of BatMU, associate professor. In the first part of the seminar, theoretical information on registering on the NEARPOD platform, creating lesson content, viewing its results in the reports section, filling your own library, testing knowledge in a certain area, summing up the section, etc. In the second part, the graduates practiced the content of the lesson. During the seminar, the rector of BatMU, Professor Aidar Toktorovich Gyazov, said that the seminars for graduates are well planned and that graduates should use these opportunities correctly.
On December 22, 2022, a seminar “Modern teacher” was held for graduates of the full-time and correspondence departments of BatSU. The seminar was conducted by the deputy director for educational work of the Lenin Secondary School, history teacher Valiev Furkat. The seminar addressed such questions as, what should a modern teacher be like? The advantages of the teaching profession include decent work in educational institutions, love for their profession, etc.
On December 15, 2022, a seminar “innovative learning tool-Canva online platform” was held for graduates of the full-time and correspondence departments of Batsu. It was headed by the head of the Ukgb Batsu P.I.K, associate professor Ergeshali kyzy Aychurek passed. It is not enough to be the owner of any profession in an era of constant technological development. Future young specialists should develop in all directions. At this seminar, they learned how to create visual material in an original way, teaching the younger generation how to use canvas
On November 10, 2022, graduates of BatSU took part in a webinar on development on the Youtube platform, organized by the Peak Osh Business Innovation Development Center. The webinar was held in a hybrid form, where graduates learned how to develop a business on the YouTube platform, ways to increase video views, current trends on YouTube, etc.
On November 4, 2022, a letter of recommendation was sent to the educational and structural units to collect data for the creation of an Alumni Association
Agreements were concluded with a group of enterprises in order to employ graduates and involve enterprises in the educational process of the university.
