On November 10, 2024, Batken State University held a ceremonial scientific event titled “Science – it enhances your mind, learn, and the world will reveal its secrets” in honor of World Science Day.
The event was opened by the Vice-Rector for Science, State Language, and Organizational Affairs of BatSU, PhD, Professor M.D. Aidarova. The rector of BatSU, Doctor of Economics, Giyazov Aidarbek Toktorovich, congratulated the scientists on Science Day and presented university and departmental awards. Several faculty members of the university were awarded the “Best in Education” badge and “Honorary Certificate” by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Additionally, according to the decision of the Academic Council of Batken State University, scholars who published authorial monographs were awarded. A prize of 40,000 soms was given to the following scholars:
- Abdybaïtova A.A. – “Impact of waste on the environment”;
- Kadyrov A.A., Ph.D. in History, Professor – “Batken City: History and Future”;
- Kadyrov A.A., Ph.D. in History, Professor – “Baimanaly Batken. History and Culture”;
- Kaïmova F.M. – “Comparative Functional-Semantic Framework as a textbook”.
The head of the Social Development Department of the President’s Representative Office in the Batken Region, Tağaeva Kızjibek Kubanychbekovna, participated in the event, congratulated the scientists, and presented gifts to the university. Also, as a representative of the Batken City Mayor’s Office, Ryskulova İmigülsün Toksonovna congratulated the scientific staff.
During the event, the presentation ceremony of the authorial monographs by Professor, PhD in History A.A. Kadyrov, “Batken City: History and Future” and “Baimanaly Batken. History and Culture,” took place. Many prominent individuals from Batken participated, expressing their opinions and wishes about Professor A.A. Kadyrov’s works. Among them were co-author of “Batken City: History and Future” Ryskulova İmigülsün Toksonovna, member of the National Writers Union of Kyrgyzstan Daabekov Abdinabi, Sultanmuratov Saidilla, Kyrgyzstan’s honored teacher Baltabaev Zulpukar, legendary parliament member Zholdoshev Tuygun, and others.
The second part of the event was held at the Aygül Historical-Cultural Museum Complex, where the guests got acquainted with the museum’s new discoveries, exhibits, and decorations, and witnessed the creative talent of sculptor A. Aitmatov. A. Aitmatov was awarded a prize equal to a month’s salary for his unique talent and exceptional work.
