The Rector of Batken State University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Aidarbek Toktorovich Giyazov presented a report on his annual activities at the meeting of the Supervisory Board. In his report, he highlighted academic activities, scientific achievements, financial activities, international relations, and objectives for 2025. At the same time, the rector informed the Supervisory Board about the amendments made to the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 243 dated October 14, 2024, regarding the special status granted to BatSU, and made a presentation on the tasks and opportunities of the Supervisory Board. The Vice-Rector for Economics and Contract Affairs of BatSU, M. Üsonov, spoke about the newly developed electronic platform for procurement and the approved procurement regulations. At the end of 2024, based on the rector’s instructions, the Vice-Rector for Economics and Contract Affairs and the chief accountants proposed providing a 13th monthly salary in full. As a result, the Supervisory Board made a decision to provide the 13th salary at 100%. Information was provided on construction projects for 2024, and commitments for projects to be completed in 2025 were taken. Specifically, the completion of the dormitory and sports complex construction in Batken, capital repairs of the M. Taіrov KGPİ, and the construction of the mini-football field at KEUTI were approved by the Supervisory Board. It was proposed to provide financial assistance to orphan students in need to help with tuition fees, which was supported by the Supervisory Board. Discussions were held on the establishment of new specializations in line with modern demands, and proposals were approved. The main directions include psychology, mining, and agriculture.
