On January 15, 2025, a scientific seminar titled “Writing and Publishing an Article in SCOPUS” was held at Batken State University under the leadership of the Vice-Rector for Science, State Language, and Organizational Affairs, Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences, Professor M.D. Aidarova.
The seminar provided extensive information on the structure of an article for SCOPUS publication, the main requirements for the article, working with literature and references, finding reliable journals, and other aspects. Trainers Sherbol Japaraaliev and Nursultan Abdimitalip uulu explained in detail the stages of meeting the requirements for SCOPUS publications.
It is worth noting that Batken State University was tasked with not only granting special status but also raising its ranking to an international level. This is directly related to invigorating scientific activities, conducting systematic work, and improving the university’s ranking. Therefore, the heads of the university’s structural units were tasked with working with international platforms such as Scholar.google.com, Elibrary.ru, and publishing scientific articles in SCOPUS, RINC, and Web of Science. At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates.
