On April 15, 2025, the final round of the student State Language Olympiad among higher education institutions was held in Bishkek. The event was organized by the Department of the State Language of Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn.
Representatives from 24 universities across the country competed in the final. Batken State University (BatSU) was represented by Eleonora Ergeshova, a first-year student majoring in English at the M.M. Tairov KGPU Institute. She achieved excellent results and earned a prestigious second place. She was coached by Baktygul Atabekova, a lecturer of the Kyrgyz Language and History Department of the Faculty of Humanities.
Other participants — Nusratilla Nabiev, Takhmina Khaiyarova, and Baatyr Sharapov — also made it to the final and were active contributors.
Winners were awarded diplomas, valuable gifts, and books. The instructors received certificates of appreciation.
