On April 21, 2025, the final day of the hackathon “BATKEN 4.0: Digital Solutions for Regional Development” was held in the city of Batken and concluded successfully. The event was organized to support the innovative potential of youth and contribute to the digital development of the Batken region.
On the final day, following registration and the official opening ceremony, panel sessions were held where leading IT specialists and experts gave presentations on topics such as the digital economy, startups, fiber-optic infrastructure, and sustainable development. Afterwards, 15 teams presented their projects to the jury, and the best ideas were awarded.
As a result:
- 1st place went to the “Eko-Zelen” team (80,000 KGS),
- 2nd place to “AgroTech” (60,000 KGS),
- 3rd place to the “Usta Kural” team (50,000 KGS).
Other teams received encouragement prizes and 5,000 KGS each.
During the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Batken State University and the Kyrgyz State Technical University, aimed at strengthening partnerships in education and innovation.
The “BATKEN 4.0” hackathon served as an important platform for regional digital development and opened up great opportunities for youth.
