An international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Batken region and Batken city was held at the A. Zhaynakov Drama Theater, initiated by the Presidential Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken region.
The conference was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security General-Polkovnik Kamchybek Tashiev, Presidential Representative in Batken region, General-Major Abdykarim Alimbaev, Mayor of Bishkek A. Dzhunushaliev, former governors, representatives of the Presidential Administration of Russia, and members of the State Duma. Also, foreign partners participated online, including Rector of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University S. T. Sagitov, President of the Russian INK E. G. Popkova, Dean of Yongnam University, Professor Li Mi Hyang, Zak Ladislav from the Czech Republic, and others.
At the plenary session, BatMU professors A. A. Kadyrov, Associate Professor K. A. Tairov, and Associate Professor Sh. B. Sherov spoke in detail about the history and formation of our region, as well as the history of the creation and development of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region. Over 100 scientific papers were submitted to the conference.
At the beginning of the conference, the university’s achievements were showcased at an exhibition-fair. BatMU students participated in a parade at the Central Stadium.
