Today, Batken State University actively participated in the international scientific-practical round table on the topic “Russia’s Contribution to the Development of Kyrgyzstan’s Intellectual Potential,” held at Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn.
Rector A.T. Gyiazov delivered a speech at the round table. In his remarks, he highlighted Russia’s significant role in the development of education and science in the region. He emphasized that Batken State University maintains close collaboration with Russian universities and research centers, which opens new opportunities for students and faculty.
As of today, three postgraduate students of the university have successfully defended their Ph.D. dissertations under the supervision of Russian scientists in Kyrgyzstan, and the faculty members regularly enhance their qualifications at leading educational institutions in Russia.
The rector also underlined the collaboration with Russia’s “National Institute for Communication Research” in establishing a “Center for Russian Language and Culture” at the university.
In conclusion, he expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants for productive discussions and idea exchanges. He believes that such meetings play a crucial role in strengthening scientific and cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and Russia and significantly contribute to mutual intellectual development and progress.
