The Batken Regional Telecommunication Company, part of the National Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with the Presidential Representative in Batken Region, organized the “Golden Apricot – 2024” award to recognize outstanding achievements in public, economic, cultural, educational, healthcare, law enforcement, security, and agricultural sectors and to widely showcase these accomplishments to the public. In the “Best Teacher” nomination, the winner was Kubanychbek Abdylaazizovich Tairov, a faculty member of the Department of Humanities at Batken State University.
