Representatives of “UN Women” and the “Rosa Otunbayeva Initiative” Foundation Held a Meeting at Batken State University
Today, at Batken State University, students met with the head of the “UN Women” structure in Kyrgyzstan, Sayed Sadiq, and a representative of the “Rosa Otunbayeva Initiative” Foundation. During the event, female students were informed about women’s rights, gender equality, and leadership opportunities. Participants also discussed the role of women in society, the importance of education, and measures to prevent gender-based violence.
After the meeting, the guests held talks with BatSU Rector Aidarbek Gyyazov, discussing the development of cooperation in education and the implementation of projects aimed at expanding women’s opportunities.
