The Rector of Batken State University, Doctor of Economics and Professor Aidarbek Giyazov, welcomed Andre Algermissen, Regional Representative for Central Asia of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and Aidar Alymbekov, Director of the Innovation Center under Kyrgyzpatent.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding student support through scholarship programs, opportunities for experience exchange, and the organization of special programs for learning the German language. The parties reached relevant agreements.
Additionally, Andre Algermissen extended an official invitation to Rector Aidarbek Giyazov to participate as a speaker in a large-scale conference to be held in Bishkek.
Moreover, two lecturers from Batken State University successfully defended their PhD dissertations and received high recognition from the academic community. Continued support and motivation for scientific research are bearing fruit.
Khayriddin Rakhmanalievich Tairov – was officially awarded the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences by the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Abdieva Aisha Mukhamatkulovna – successfully defended her PhD dissertation in the field of 07.00.07 – ethnography, ethnology, and anthropology, titled: “Kyrgyz Knowledge and Use of Plants (Late 19th – Early 20th Century).” Her academic advisor was A. A. Asankanov, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor.
Daovlatova Feruza Muxtarovna – successfully defended her dissertation in the field of 25.00.24 – economic, social, political, and recreational geography, titled: “Distribution and Origins of Toponyms in Southern Kyrgyzstan.” Her academic advisor was Professor Abdurashit Nizamiev Gumarovich.
