The main goal of the trip was to learn from Japan&#8217;s best practices in creating and managing geoparks and to exchange experiences.<br>The delegation included employees of the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Specially Protected Natural Areas of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of regional and district administrations, as well as members involved in managing geoparks in Kyrgyzstan.<br>The delegation also included BatSU&#8217;s Vice Rector for Economics and Finance, Mus\u0430 Mursaaprovich Usunov, who represented our university at this important international event.<br>During the trip, participants learned about the creation of unique geoparks in Japan. Japan has a total of 37 geoparks, 10 of which are included in the UNESCO Global Network. The Japanese side shared its experience and conducted specialized training sessions.<br>The Kyrgyz delegation presented the geoparks of our country, including:<br>\ud83d\udccc Madygen Geopark (Batken Region), a unique site with paleontological and geological resources, included in UNESCO&#8217;s World Heritage List.<br>\ud83d\udccc Teskey Issyk-Kul Geopark (Issyk-Kul Region).<br>\ud83d\udccc Osh Geopark (Osh Region).<br>Japanese colleagues expressed their willingness to support the development of Kyrgyzstan&#8217;s geoparks.
