In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the 25th anniversary of the Batken Region, the Rector’s Cup of BatSU is being held in 7 sports.
The goal of the sporting event is to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among the academic staff of BatSU’s educational departments.
Teams from the main campus of BatSU, KGPI, KTEUI, and SGEI are participating. They are competing in mini-football, volleyball, table tennis, go, chess, streetball, and traditional games.

The winners of the Rector’s Cup have been determined.
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the 25th anniversary of Batken Region, the Rector’s Cup of BatSU was held in 7 sports, and the winners were determined.
In the overall team standings:
1st place went to the team of SGEI,
2nd place to the team of KGPI,
3rd place to the team of KTEUI,
4th place to the team from BatSU’s main campus.
The winners were congratulated and awarded by BatSU Rector, Acting Doctor of Sciences, Professor Aidarbek Toktorovich Giyazov, along with the directors of the institutes and vice-rectors, who presented the awards.
The teams that took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places received cash prizes, and the best players as well as those in the overall team standings were also awarded cash prizes.
