Operational officers of the Department for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration of the Batken City Police Department, during the two-month campaign “Safety in Public Places”, along with the Muslim leader of Batken region, Nuridin Haji Mamasabirov, and the representative of the State Commission for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken region, Chagylgan Yusupov, held explanatory sessions for the youth and students of Batken State University regarding ongoing activities to prevent extremism, recent incidents, violence, and crimes in public places.
During the event, students asked questions, and police officers provided appropriate responses, explaining that those engaged in criminal activities would be held accountable based on the relevant articles of the law.
