On December 16, 2024, Batken State University hosted the launch of the “Chabyt” collection of works by Batken authors, published by Kyrgyzpatent.
This collection was created to inspire and support authors from the Batken region, strengthen and develop the intellectual potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, and fulfill the requirements of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 113 “On the Status of Batken Region” dated September 10, 2021.
The collection includes 330 selected works by 42 authors from the Batken region.

The launch event was held with the support of the Batken District State Administration at Batken State University.
Speakers included Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken Region Zhanibek Isakov, Head of the Official Publications Department of Kyrgyzpatent Nurgul Rymbekova, Chairman of the Batken Regional Branch of the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan Abdilaat Doorov, poet-teacher Zulpukar Baltabayev, and Honored Worker of Culture of Kyrgyzstan Oktom Kalyyeva.

Additionally, books were presented to Aysuluu Khozhayeva, Head of the Culture Department of the Batken District State Administration, for 22 libraries located in the Batken region.
Jildyz Koshmatova, a lecturer at Batken State University and Candidate of Philological Sciences, conducted a scientific analysis of the collection, noting its significance for dialectologists.

The event also featured poets and writers whose works were published with the support of Kyrgyzpatent sharing their experiences. Representatives of Kyrgyzpatent provided detailed information about projects such as “Saamalyk,” “Seven Young Authors,” “Best Book,” and “40 Books from 40 Districts.”

The cultural segment of the event included poetry readings and musical performances by authors featured in the collection.
