Our faculty works with the great words of our people: “In the field of education, science and upbringing of the next generation, believe that they can do a lot and only then they can do a lot.”

We are in the field of education, we aim to train professionals who respect the teacher, who love nature, who strive to understand its qualities, who are great teachers of their people, who study the laws of nature, who can both respect and bear the burden of the teaching profession.

From the history of the faculty

Faculty of NSPHE is a structural unit of KPHI of Batken State University. It was established during Kyzyl-Kiya branch of Osh State University (1998) as the Faculty of Natural Sciences. At that time, the faculty had 42 teachers and 892 students (252 full-time and 640 part-time). Over time, since 1998, the institute itself has undergone a number of structural changes. KPHPI has changed. With the structural changes in the institute, new faculty structures were founded with, adding or disestablish  faculties.

The current NSPHE faculty is based on the former “Humanitarian” and “Pedagogy” faculties. The faculties were headed by associate professor, S. Zh.Zhaparov, associate professor, . doctor A. Kurbanaliev,  associate professor Z.N.Maksutov, associate professor Omurzakova, associate Professor, docent  A.ZH. Koshuev, contributed to the formation and development of the faculty.

On the basis of the order of Rector of KPHI (former SPI) dated September 1, 2021, in order to implement the reforms set by President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the education system and to optimize the educational process (credit technology), full-time and part-time bachelor.  For this purpose, on the basis of the Kyzyl-Kiya Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute of Batken State University was organized NSPHE  faculty, which included 2 departments. The dean of the faculty was appointed   associate professor Temirbaev Mederbek Mamatibraimovich.

The NSPHE faculty has more than 30 faculty members who work to deepen the knowledge of future generations in the pedagogical profession, explain the spirit of the people, the laws of nature, promote human health and study the rich material on physical and natural sciences. There are 3 professors, 8 candidates of sciences, associate professors, 6 senior lecturers, 15 teachers. At present, the faculty has 1,017 students (99 full-time students, including 100 students on a budget system, 100 students on agreement , and 818 students on a part-time).

In accordance with the Regulation “On competitive elections of faculty members of Batken State University” on November 23, 2019 at the Academic Council of Batken State University for the 2019-20 academic year, the general academic staff of the faculty is appointed by the Academic Council of Batken State University for 3 years. Successfully passed the competitive election for posts.

The faculty has curators from among experienced teachers who advise students on credit technology for each course.

The faculty of NSPHE together with these departments serves the following directions of education in the 1,2,3,4-5 courses of full-time and part-time education:

The duration of training at the Faculty of NSPHE is 4 years for full-time  and 5 years for part-time students, teaching in 2 languages ​​(Kyrgyz, Russian).

The purpose of the facultyу

At present, one of the priorities of the country is to eliminate staff shortages in all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic by training highly qualified specialists and improving their quality.

Today, universities are faced with the task of training future bachelors of education, independent and non-standard thinking, able to work in teams with a new innovative culture.

To this end, the State Inspectorate for Licensing and Accreditation (Certification) under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kyzyl-Kiya Educational activities are carried out at the faculty of NSPHE   under the issued license.

The dominant trend of modern life is the deep usage   of computers and information technology in all spheres of professional activity.

Today, NSPHE faculty has the following mission:

• Ensuring quality assurance in a modern multilingual education process with a competency approach; integration into the world space of education, science and culture; formation of moral, cultural and scientific values ​​in young people;
• Training of highly professional personnel who will be able to realize their intellectual potential in science, industry and professional activities to ensure the economic, social and political development of the state;

In particular, the mission of the Faculty is to train competent professionals who meet modern requirements: teachers of physics, mathematics, computer science, biology, pedagogy and methodology of primary education and educators of educational institutions. Providing all regions of Kyrgyzstan with a shortage of teachers in the above specialties.

Academic Council of the Faculty

In accordance with the Regulations for Higher Education Institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, members of the Academic Council of the faculty are appointed from among the members of the departments served by the faculty in order to discuss and implement educational, methodological, scientific-methodical and educational activities related to the educational process. From the 2021-22 academic year, the following members of the Academic Council of the Faculty of NSPHE of Batken State University were re-approved as members of the Academic Council of the Faculty of NSPHE:

The Academic Council of the Faculty  discusses the implementation of educational, methodological, scientific-methodological and educational activities related to the educational process in the areas of education served by the faculty, the relevant decisions are made and implemented in  time.

Olympic and sport achievements

In accordance with the “Regulations of the Olympiad among students” of Batken State University, in February-March of each academic year, subject and specialty Olympiads are held among students studying in the field of education served by the faculty. The winners of the Olympiad, which is held at the institutional level, are sent to the Olympiad, which is held at the level of Batken State University. At the same time, students involved in each subject and specialty will be assigned experienced teachers, who will provide consultations. Among the winners of the Olympiad held at the level of Batken State University, students are sent to the relevant universities responsible for the conduct of the Regional Subject Olympiad in the same year in accordance with the “Regulations on the Regional Subject Olympiad” among Southern universities.

Let’s take a brief look at the achievements of our students who have studied at the faculty and participated in social and cultural events. In particular, in Osh State University in 2014, the 1st place in physics was taken by a student of the FI-11 group Aziz uulu Uluk (supervisor: teacher Abdibayitova AT), the 3rd place was taken by a student of the same group Erdavlet kyzy Jiidegul (supervisor: teacher Abdibayitova A.T) , 2nd place in chemistry Mamadalieva Gulera, student of HK-10 group (supervisor, acting associate professor Kozubaev S.K), 1st place in physics in Osh State University in 2015, student of FI-11 group Aziz uulu Uluk (supervisor, teacher Abdibayitova A.), 2nd place in chemistry Akhunova Zarifa, a student of the group HK-12 (supervisor, acting associate professor Kozubaev S.K), a student of the group PBB-1-17 in the subject “Computer Science” at the VII Regional Olympiad in 2019 at the Law Institute in Osh Burkhandinova Mohinur (supervisor: teacher Bekmurzaeva BA), student of BK-17 group Esenalieva Aida (supervisor: teacher Abdibayitova A.A) took the first place in the subject “Chemistry”. Aziz uulu Uluk, a student of FI-11 group, won the nomination “Best Student of the Year” in higher and secondary vocational education in Batken oblast. He graduated with honors and now works as a physicist teacher. On December 14, 2021, Murzabek kyzy, a graduate student of IK-18 group of Informatics profile, was nominated for the Presidential Scholarship “Umut” and the nomination “Best Student of the Year” from higher and secondary vocational schools in Batken oblast, organized by the “Batken Tany “newspaper. The faculty and students of the faculty are active in various socio-cultural activities. For example, in the sports event held at the institutional level devoted for the Day of Students, the faculty took first place in the team event, and students actively participated in the Universiade in Bishkek. Currently, students of the faculty are actively participating in events at the national, regional, city, university and institute levels, winning prizes.

Conference, symposium

Every year, the faculty of NSPHE actively participates in various conferences in the level of the university to increase the level of scientific potential, and articles are published in various scientific journals that meet the requirements of the CJSC of the Kyrgyz Republic. The research work of students and teachers is carried out in accordance with the requirements. At the same time, in accordance with the schedule of the educational process, traditional research activities (Science Week for teachers and students) are held annually. In addition, teachers and students are actively participating in scientific and practical conferences held by international organizations and universities in the international and regional direction, as evidenced by the published articles.

Student Scientific Society

The conference resolution recommended that students’ scientific articles be published in the scientific journal “Bulletin of Osh State University.”

In order to improve the independence of students in the 2020-21 academic year in December and April, each department received term papers, abstracts, reports from students of 1-2-3-4 courses. Participated actively and gained a lot of information.

In order to guide the research work of students in the field of education served by the faculty NCPHE and to demonstrate their specialties, specialty weeks are held regularly each academic year. During these weeks, students and teachers of computer science, mathematics, physics, biology, pedagogy, physical education, chemistry have been active. The week will include scientific and methodological discussions, open doors, round tables, performances, open lessons, KVN, sports competitions in the relevant areas of the above specialties. It should be noted that this specialty week has increased the attitude of students and teachers to the profession and science.

Educational-methodical work

The plan of educational and methodical sections of faculties and departments was approved and worked according to it. Work was done to facilitate the construction of syllabi created by teachers.
