The Faculty of Education was established by the decision of the Academic Council on May 28, 1998.
Training profile:
“Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education”.
This profile introduces students to the basics of pedagogy and teaching methods for younger students, planning of education, organization of the educational process, preparation and implementation of educational goals. In the process of learning, students develop practical skills and competencies.
Duration of study: 4 years.
The faculty has two departments: The Department of Primary Education and the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology.
The research work of students is one of the most important tools for improving the quality of education and education of graduates who are able to creatively apply the achievements of scientific, technological and cultural progress in their future practice. Students actively participate in scientific and practical conferences of international and national levels; their work is published in scientific journals.
Students of the Faculty of Education do internships in schools, city and district departments of education.
The aim of the faculty is to train primary school teachers who combine professional competence with the highest moral character to work in highly qualified, public and private
schools. Graduates have completed courses in multilingualism and are able to draw up documents in the same way in two languages and competently teach their students. Also, the faculty organized pilot groups in which multilingualism is implemented.
Duties:
– to teach students on programs of in-depth study of special subjects necessary for the study and education of elementary school.
– ensuring the competitiveness of graduates in the modern labor market;
– the interaction of educational institutions with schools and the integration of the educational process for testing educational and scientific materials in practice;
– provide the educational process with textbooks, manuals at the proper level;
– conducting pedagogical work on the general cultural preparation of students, their general and civic education;
– organization and conduct of internships in accordance with the specialization of students;
– carrying out scientific-methodical, research work on the development of the educational process.
Cooperation:
The faculty closely cooperates with foreign universities for comprehensive development. For example, Ferghana State University, universities of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is closely connected with the leading departments of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn, Osh State University, Osh State Pedagogical University and pedagogical faculties of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition to schools, it cooperates with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, city and district educational organizations.
The Faculty of Pedagogy invites professional teachers and practitioners to improve the quality of teaching and organizes student scientific and practical conferences with them on topical issues of regulating the activities of education and upbringing in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Teachers and students of the faculty take an active part in sports competitions for the “Rector’s Cup”, which is held annually in various structures of Batken State University. To maintain a healthy lifestyle, various interfaculty competitions in national sports are held.
The leadership of the institute and the faculty provides material and moral support to the best students. Tours are organized to historical places and museums of Kyrgyzstan and neighboring countries.
Achievements, successes:
In the 2015-2016 academic year, the faculty was recognized as the “Best Faculty of Batken State University”. In the international competition “Children’s Games of the Turkic Peoples of Eurasia”, organized by the Bashkir State Pedagogical University of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Bashkortostan on May 28, 2021, Associate Professor Borkoshev M.M. and the scientific team headed by him took 3rd place and was awarded a 3rd degree diploma.
Faculty student Akhmadaliyeva Khurshida is the captain of the ENACTUS team of BatMU. The team under her leadership reached the top 15 best teams. At the international cultural and educational youth forum “Chingiz Aitmatov and the youth of the XXI century” held in 2020 from December 8 to 10 on the basis of three universities and the National Academy “Manas”, a student of the faculty Rakhmonova Halimakhon made a scientific report and took a worthy first place.
