The specialty “Russian Language and Literature”, “English Language” was formed by order No. 76/1 ,with the formation of the Kyzyl-Kia a branch of Osh State University in September 1998.
In 1998 senior teacher Turduev.K.T. was appointed head of department . In 2000 was appointed senior lecturer. Gaybulaev Zh.O., since 2008 he headed the department of senior teacher Kurbanova M.A., from 2014 to 2016 – headed the department by senior teacher. Dosanova A, teacher Yusupova A, Teacher Murzaeva A. In connection with the reorganization and optimization of BatSU from 01.02. 2016 was appointed head of the department Ph.D. Associate Professor A.K. Teshebaev.
The department is graduating and trains personnel in the specialty “Russian Language and Literature”, “English Language” of the Humanitarian Faculty.
In the specialty “Russian language and literature”, “English language” according to the curriculum “Bachelor” students study in full-time departments.
The educational activities of the department are carried out according to the curricula approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Classes are held according to approved work programs, drawn up in accordance with the State Standard. The department has standard training programs in all disciplines, compiled on the basis of the State Standard.
The department has documentation according to the nomenclature of cases, a staffing form and a staffing table. These are copies of the current curricula, according to which the calculation of the hours of the annual teaching load is made and the volume of the teaching load of each teacher is determined.
An analysis of cases by nomenclature gives grounds to say that all documentation in line with the requirements of the standards fully reflects the work of the department in terms of personnel, staffing, workloads. It covers all the educational, scientific, methodological, educational work of the team. The documentation reflects the work to improve the quality of education, improve lectures, practical, laboratory classes, improve the qualifications of teachers of the SIW organization.
The total volume of the teaching load according to the curriculum “Bachelor”, the department in the specialty “RYAL” and “English” for the 2021-22 academic year is 12583 hours.
The department has been working since 2012 under the ABN program, all teachers of the department have mastered the new program well.
Work on the RITM system helps teachers to teach students more effectively, to control the quality of their knowledge. In almost all disciplines of the department, tests, questions, assignments for receiving modules have been compiled.
The progress of students is the main indicator of their work, so it is in the center of attention of teachers. The results of the session, the results of the modules are discussed at the meetings of the department, a thorough analysis is carried out, the reasons for the low progress in the subjects of the department are identified and appropriate measures are taken: group, individual consultations and additional classes are held with lagging students.
There is an exchange of experience with related departments of Osh State University and OGPI, BSU, ZhSU.
All teachers of the department took courses in critical thinking. advanced training courses at the Center for International Education of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov on the basis of the Russian Center in Osh on the methodology of teaching Russian as a non-native language senior teacher of the department Kurbanova M.A. from August 24 to September 5, 2009 At Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosova took advanced training courses for teachers of Russian as a foreign language, and also participated in the Russian Center in Osh. on the problems of studying the Russian language 27.10. 2014, since November 29, 2016 senior teacher Kurbanova M.A. completed a refresher course in Bishkek under the program “Russian Language in the Educational Space of the CIS Countries” in the amount of 24 hours. Senior lecturer of the department Akbarov Takhir took advanced courses in Osh 10.10. 2015 with the support of the fund “Implementation by the Government of St. Petersburg of the state policy of the Russian Federation in relation to compatriots abroad, Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg”. On the topic “Courses on teaching Russian as a foreign language”. Teacher of the department Davranova Gulchekhra Rakhmatzhanovna from 09/22/2017 to 09/07. In 2017, she had an internship in Turkey.
Educational work at the department is carried out according to the plan drawn up and approved at the beginning of the year. The planned events reflect all aspects of the educational process (holiday programs, evenings on the work of poets and writers, activities for the implementation of national programs, the “year of morality and education”). This year, a number of events dedicated to the anniversaries of A.P. Chekhov were held. B. Pasternak. For the active participation of students in events dedicated to the anniversaries of writers, students and teachers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature were awarded diplomas by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Osh and the Russian Center of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.
Students take an active part in sports events held across the faculty, institute, region, and city.
One of the main criteria for the activities of the university is scientific work. At one stage of its development, the department takes care of the hanging of the general philological culture of students, which is possible in the real establishment of research and development work, while mastering modern research methods. In this regard, the department works in three scientific areas:
1. Methods of teaching the Russian language and literature in the system of continuous education.
2. Theory and methodology of eloquence.
3. Topical issues in the study of language and literature.
The department continues its research activities on the problem of “Optimization of teaching Russian and English.
In this direction, a certain work is being carried out at the department, specializing in Russian language and literature. Members of the department, as far as possible, introduce the results of their scientific work into the educational process. Associate Professor of the Department Teshebaev A.K. published more than 40 scientific articles, 5 of them are teaching aids
Associate Professor of the Department Teshebaev A.K. successfully defended his dissertation work on the topic:
“Formation of social activity of high school students in the conditions of rural secondary schools” in Bishkek, KAO 03.02.2012.
Senior Lecturer Kurbanova M.A. works on the dissertation topic “Expression of the category of a person in languages of various structures” (based on the Tajik Russian and Kyrgyz languages). Senior teacher Akbarov T. Kh.
The scientific relations of the department are currently determined by cooperation with the following organizations:
1. Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Osh (since 2003).
2. “Russian Center” of the international fund Russkiy Mir in Osh (since 2008)
