Department of History and the Kyrgyz language

A brief history of the department. The Department of History of Kyrgyzstan was established by the order of the director of KSPI BatSU (№6/1, §9, 01.10.2004). Until September 1, 2014, the department was headed by Professor A. T. Berdiev. Since September 1, 2014, the department was headed by B.A. Sydykov, From February 1, 2016, the department was headed by Associate Professor A. Sh. Abdikerimov (order №6 / 1, §9, 01.02..16). On September 1, 2016, the department of the Kyrgyz language and history was created by the order of .the rector of Batken State University, Prof. А. M. Zulpuev (№6 / 1, § 1, 01.09.16), On September 1, 2020, the Department of “Interfaculty Education” was established under the auspices of the Institute. Sh. Abdikerimov was appointed. Since September 1, 2021, the Department of “Kyrgyz language and history” of the Faculty of Humanities was established, serving two profiles: “History” and “Kyrgyz language and literature” and interdisciplinary disciplines.

Teaching and learning activities. The curriculum for carrying out educational activities in the above profiles is in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Education” and other regulations in the field of education and other regulations of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, state educational standards developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. Reading – methodical work

The department carries out departmental paperwork, educational and methodical work on the basis of a specially created nomenclature. The staff forms and staff schedules of the department are developed and approved. Clock loads, summary sheets are attached to special folders. Teachers’ individual work plans are completed. Participation in mutual lessons is well organized. Decisions made by the institute and faculties are discussed in a timely manner by teachers of the department and appropriate measures are taken. Members of the department are actively involved in social work. Members of the department are involved in organizing open classes of experienced teachers, associate professors B. Azimbaev, A. Abdikerimov, A. Berdiev and others, and teachers of the department are improving their skills. Experienced teachers have written and published their own textbooks. The AVN information system has been installed in the educational process, the relevant documents (curricula, hours, information about students and teachers, achievement sheets, test questions, worksheets, syllabi, etc.) have been uploaded and work is underway to fully automate the learning process. The use of modular-rating system of teaching students is well established. Based on the schedule created during the semester, teachers receive modules from students and evaluate their knowledge. Teachers give students assignments for independent work and check their results. Students participated in school, regional and regional competitions and achieved good results

Relations with production. The department works closely with Kyzyl-Kiya, Nookat, Kadamjai, Aravan in the field of socio-economic education and history of the Kyrgyz language and literature, conducting special internships, pedagogical practices, state practices agreements were made for the purpose. There are also individual agreements with general secondary schools in the region.

Science – research work Teachers of the department participate in scientific conferences in different cities of the country and neighboring countries, and research is conducted not only by faculty, but also students participate in various conferences and seminars at the university and regional levels.

On April 15, 2015 in cooperation with the Representation of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken oblast on the basis of Batken State University held a scientific-practical conference “Great personalities of apricots” dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Batken oblast. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor A. Berdiev A. Masaliev made a report on the topic “Outstanding statesman and public figure of Kyrgyzstan”

On April 17, 2015 at the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute of Batken State University was organized by the Heritage Society a scientific conference dedicated to the 1175th anniversary of Ishak Asan uulu Polot Khan. Teachers of the department are actively involved in scientific and methodological conferences and seminars. Every teacher is working to revitalize research. Scientific topics of the teaching staff of the department “Kyrgyz language and history”:

Senior lecturer of the department A. T Berdiev. defended his dissertation on the topic: “A. Masaliev is an outstanding statesman and public figure of Kyrgyzstan.” on January 30, 2015.  Uraimov. Sh. defended his dissertation on the topic: “Genealogy as a historical source in the study of the history of Kyrgyzstan.” From 2015 to 2021, members of the department published more than 40 scientific and methodological articles, 4 textbooks and 4 monographs.The main scientific direction of the teachers of the department is “Study of philological, historical, ethnographic and archaeological data in the south-west of Kyrgyzstan.”
